Paul D. Baicar, age 85, of Seaford, DE passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

          Paul was born on April 13, 1931, the son of the late Paul Baicar Jr. and Elvira Jones Baicar in Hyattsville, MD.  He graduated from Hyattsville High School.

        Paul married Louise Johnson Baicar on July 5, 1952 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Friendly, MD. They were happily married for 63 years.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Germany from 1952 to 1954. He was very patriotic and took pride in his service. He retired in 2014 after a successful career in sales. 

          Paul is survived by his wife, Louise, his daughter, Brenda Hill, son, Robert and his wife, Kim Baicar, grandchildren, Ashley Hill, Anna Baicar, and Robert S. Hill III, great-grandchildren, Aleese Marceline and Shane Michael, two sisters, Lois McGowan and Barbara Foster, and many nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be on Saturday, June 4, at 11 AM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, DE. There will also be a gathering of friends and family after the service at the Christ Lutheran Church hall, 315 N. Shipley St, Seaford,l across from the funeral home.
