Sally Ann Van Schaik age 76, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2016.

          She was born on April 7, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late George and Muriel Hann. 

          Sally was homemaker and went back to college and earned a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and earned her Masters Degree from Delaware State University.  She was employed by Easter Seals in Georgetown with the Agrability Program until her retirement in 2012.  She was on the board for Teen Challenge and a member of Chesapeake Emmaus as well as the Sussex Mass Choir. 

          Sally was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She is survived by children, Cherie Nolt (Greg), Eric Jones (Christy), Staci Morris (John), and Rob Van Schaik, grandchildren, Jennifer Wright (Adam), Alison Nolt, Ben Jones (Jenn), Megan Jones and Alex Morris, great-grandchildren, Breyden and Kendyl Wright, sister, Karen Henderson (Dan) and niece, Hannah Henderson.

          Memorial Services will be on Monday, November 14th at 1 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 12 to 1.  Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

          In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Sally’s memory to Easter Seals, 22317 DuPont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947.
