We teenagers at St. John's in Seaford in the late Forties were blessed to have Rev. Cooke as our "preacher" and shepherd at MYF and church. He was also there in 1956 officiating at my marriage to Tom. I remember Rev. Cooke with fond memories. Look forward to our reunion in our Lord's Presence.

The officers, board of governors, and members regret the passing of Rev. Dr. Raymond Jervis Cooke who was a member of the Baltimore City College Class of 1937 and a prime example of the type of person our school continues to produce.

My sympathy goes out to the family of Rev. Cooke. Our paths have crossed over the years but I remember him from Kingswood in Newark.

It always brought joy, great delight and touched my heart when at annual conference Rev. Jarvis Cook would stand as the longest service pastor in our conference. His face always had a glow that reflected the light and love of God. Thank you to the family for sharing such a blessing and gift with all of us.
