William “Bill” Reese Smith of Seaford, Delaware passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.

Born on April 14, 1948, Bill was the son of the late Reese and Helen Smith.  He graduated from Randolph Macon Military Academy and the University of Delaware. Bill was a skilled builder who constructed beautiful homes, furniture, and was the family’s birthday piñata maker. He was the President of RW Smith Investment Co. and property manager for the Smith Building in Georgetown, Delaware.  Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and enjoy nature.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Ileana; his adoring sons and their wives: Matt and Ali, Mike and Kelli, Ben and Nicki; his treasured grandchildren: Jagger, Tristin, Olivia, Silas, Wyatt, Sydney, Ryann; and, his loving sister Helen Ann.  Bill is also survived by his loyal canine companion Ryder; two aunts, Elsie Messick and Pauline Steele; several cousins; his brother-in-law Rick Mestas; nephew Garrett; and father-in-law Gustavo Mestas.
