Our courageous Mother, Wanda Lea Rice, 62, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully on December, 15th 2022, at 10:13am, after a year long struggle, battling Small Cell Lung Cancer.
When Wanda was a young Woman, she always worked tirelessly for her family. During those days she got the nickname “Wonder Woman”. She always had such a presence of confidence and courage to her. Even when she endured her radiation/chemo treatments, she would always make sure her make-up and outfits were clean and perfect. Even when you could see she was in so much pain, she would still wear her boots with heels, because she was fabulous. Wanda loved those who were closest to her with everything she had. Her children were her pride and joy, and she was the most supportive, caring, and loving granny to each one of her grandchildren, and loved them with every fiber of her being. Family meant everything to Wanda.
She is predeceased by; Her Brother Billy Scott; Her Father, Albert Scott.
She is survived by; Her beloved Son William Glenn and Wife Paige Glenn; Her loving Grandson, Liam Glenn; Her Daughter, Melissa Glenn; Her beautiful granddaughters, LaKalla, Jasmine, and Hailey; Her Mother, Virginia Scott; Her Brother, Randy Scott and Wife Bonnie Scott; Her Twin Sister, Rhonda Mitchell and Husband Jeff Mitchell; and Sister, Dawn Wright.
