Shirley Lee Workman

Shirley Lee Workman, age 77, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. Shirley was born in Georgetown, DE on August 19, 1947.

Shirley loved shopping to include antiquing and going to yard sales, she enjoyed crafting ceramic sculptures, and tending to her flower garden, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack Workman, three daughters, Stacy Ricks (Dean), Kathy Ford (Shawn), and Karen Grant (Scott), grandchildren, Megan Ricks, Dean Lokey III, and Gavin Grant.  She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Long (Bill) and Holly Pusey (Jay), and her brother, Bruce Downs (Michelle), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Irving and Mable Downs.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM with a public viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 Shipley Street, Seaford, DE.  Interment will follow funeral services at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford.
