Sherion Hornsby

Sherion Hornsby, age 67 of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, peacefully at home.  She was born on February 27, 1955, to the late James and Ruth Williams.

In addition to her parents, Sherion was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Hornsby, Brothers: Hubert, Robert, Thomas, and Donald. 

Sherion is survived by two brothers: Vernon and Henry Wiliams, sister, Betty Jean Trammell, as well as at least 13 half siblings, daughters: Quincy O’Mahony (Mike Weimer) and Denise Kennedy (Ollie Scott), stepchildren: Cathy Hodges (Steve), David Hornsby (Denise), Kevin Hornsby (Rebecca), and Keith Hornsby, grandchildren: Kira Lynne Marquez, Javier Marquez, Armand Marquez, Benjamin O’Mahony, Ryleigh O’Mahony, Lance Weimer, John Hodges, and Chris Hodges, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She as also survived by her very special K-9 companion, Fox.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 12:00pm at First Baptist Church, 10016 Concord Road, Seaford, DE, with a visitation from 11 to 12.  Internment will immediately follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
