Sharon Taylor Evans, 86, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022, at the Acts Manor House of Seaford, Delaware. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Earle E. and Katherine H. (Phipps) Richeson.
A graduate of Eastern High School, Sharon worked in Baltimore for the State of Maryland in both State Highway and Mass Transit Administrations.
Sharon was an avid reader and loved fashion. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family in Ocean City, Maryland as well as hosting them at home at Christmas time were among her greatest joys.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Richard E. Evans, Sr., as well as sons Christian (Patti), Richard, Jr. (Carol), and Jason. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren include Matthew Evans (Katie), Katherine Shedlock (Aaron), Lauren Montero (Jerry), Steven Evans, Hope Beaghley (Andrew), Paige Evans, Zachary Evans, Madison Evans, Ella, Madeline and Calvin Shedlock, Jordan Montero, Seamus and August Beaghley, and Harper Evans (due 2/23).
A memorial service will be held at Acts Manor House 1001 Middleford Road Seaford, Delaware, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:00 am. (A private committal service will be held at a future date.)
