Robert L Stevenson

Robert L Stevenson, age 82, of Laurel, DE, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Saturday, May 11, 2024.  He was born on January 21, 1942, in Salisbury, MD, the son of the late William and Lillian Stevenson.

Robert was proud to have worked for Dresser Industries in Salisbury, MD for 37 years.  He enjoyed building and carpentry; he took pride in his yard and his home. Robert was a great dancer and loved music, he was also a NASCAR enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian Stevens, son, Robert Stevenson Jr, and his brother, William Stevenson.

Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan Stevenson, daughter, Lisa Powell (Jeff), son, Mark Stevenson (Karen), grandchildren, Mason, Eileen, and Jessica, and two great-grandchildren.
