Richard “Rick” Hare Sr passed away peacefully in his family home surrounded by his family. He fought a long hard battle with cancer from July 2nd, 2024, until he passed.

Rick leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Jane Hare, his 3 children, Jessica Hare, Jennifer Hare and Richard Hare Jr. (Allison), his grandchildren, Ariana, Domanick, Leilani (Kurtis), Jayden, Bethani (Zane), Caleb (Olivia), Jada, Elijah, Mackenzie, his “best buddy friend” Donjae and a grandson due in October 2026, great grandchildren, Amora, Armani, Azriel, Azaria, baby boy Greene, and one due later this year, siblings, Sherry Smith-Butler (Doug), Debbie Milligan (Steve), Timothy Hare and Gregory Hare, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host off friends who love him dearly.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Edna & Tommy Hastings, and a brother, Larry Hare.
