RUSSELL L WILSON, JR

Russell L Wilson passed away peacefully at Genesis Seaford Center on June 22, 2021, with his loving wife and brother by his side.

He was born in Wilmington, DE on February 2, 1935, the son of the late Russell & Ida Wilson of Federalsburg, MD.  He drove a truck for several years, worked at King Cole Co., and retired from Walmart in Seaford, DE.  He enjoyed going to the slots and watching Nascar Racing.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margie O’Day Wilson, a brother Rick (Kathy), 2 daughters Karen (John) Werner and Denise Wilson, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 3 nephews, Joey Williamson, Lee Swain and Ricky Wilson and 2 nieces, Amy Bradley and Robin Hixon.

Funeral Services will be on Sunday, June 27th at 1 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 12 to 1.  Burial will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown.
