ROBERT B SWETZ

Robert Bernard Swetz, age 90, of Seaford, DE died on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

          Robert was born in Nanticoke, PA and lived in New Jersey for many years before moving to Delaware in 1992. He attended New York School of Interior Design and was a Korean War veteran.  He retired from Macy’s in 1990 where for 33 years he was an executive director of visual merchandising in charge of opening new stores.

          He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Seaford. 

          He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara.  He is survived by a son, Philip Swetz, and daughter Leanne Lassiter (James Sr), grandchildren, Alicia Swetz,,James Lassiter and Quentin Lassiter and a brother, Richard Swetz (Dolores).

          Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 1st at 11 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 528 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford.  Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

          In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 528 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford, DE 19973.
