RICHARD E ROBERTS, SR

Richard E Roberts, Sr, 82, passed away at home on January 15, 2021 in Seaford, DE.

No funeral services are planned at this time. A Memorial Service will be scheduled in the spring of 2021 in Gouldsboro, PA; the family will inform family and friends when a date is scheduled.    

Richard (Gene/Dick) was born in Trenton, NJ to Edward C and Naomi (Jenkins) Roberts on September 14, 1938.  He married Marilyn J Sauer on May 6, 1961. Richard was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Class of 57. He worked as a Line Haul Supervisor for AAA Trucking for 30 years. He retired to the Pocono Mountains and went back to work at the Liz Claiborne warehouse in Mt Pocono for 12 years.  Richard loved working with stained glass and ran the White Rabbit Stained Glass with Marilyn; going to numerous craft shows every year.  He was a veteran and served in the US Marines.  He was involved in Lions Club in Gouldsboro PA and a member of the Gouldsboro Methodist Church. 

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Naomi, his brothers, Edward T., George A., and Kenneth L. and his brother-in law Alex Frantz and sister-in-law Betty Roberts.

Richard is survived by his wife Marilyn, his sister Naomi Frantz, his brother Charles Roberts and his wife Regina, sister-in law Phyllis Roberts, children: Kathryn Kisela, Joyce Mallory (Carl), Richard Jr (Mandy), David (Kathy) 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
