The definition of legacy is the long-lasting impact of particular events, actions, etc. that took place in the past or of a person’s life. Peggy’s legacy is a humble but mighty one that the world around her may not recognize but is one that is mighty and eternal. Hers is not one of gold, money, possessions, or even worldly status. Hers is a much more important legacy – a spiritual legacy. She was a mighty woman of God, a prayer warrior for many. She served the Lord through work with Mt. Olivet Church in Seaford and Love INC of Seaford. Even in these last 2 and a ½ years that she was in poor health, she shared the gospel truth of the saving grace of Jesus Christ with every person that she met in medical facilities and that came to her home to help care for her. She would be known to break out in prayer for them and their situations on the spot. All were blessed by her and her faith.
In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory can be made to Pastor Robert Morris Ministries, (pastorrobert.com) or your favorite charity.
Graveside Services will take place on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford, DE.
