Paul L Zamberlan Jr, passed away peacefully at home in Seaford, DE on June 14, 2024. He was born on June 7, 1931, to Paul L and Mary Vecellio Zamberlan, in Lewis Run, PA. Paul graduated from Bradford High School, Bradford, PA in 1949, Jamestown Business School in 1951, and University of St. Bonaventure, Allegheny, NY with a BA and master’s degree in business. Paul was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He worked at the Hanley Brick plant in Lewis Run, PA, he drove Semi Tractor Trailers in the family business, Dresser Industries, he was Section gang for the B&O Railroad, and he had 25 years teaching Business in the Corning-Painted Post High School, Corning, NY. He also worked for Roger Khal Trucking in Seaford, DE.
He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford, and a volunteer for 18 years as handyman there.
Paul enjoyed sports, traveling, cruises with friends, and telling stories.
He was a member of the American Legion, Army Vets, and Knights of Columbus 4th degree, Delaware.
Paul is survived by his wife of 69 years, Amelia “Min” Fyda Zamberlan, sister-in-law, Barbara Meholic Zamberlan, two nieces, Susan Zamberlan DiGioia (husband, Kenny) of Amelia Island, FL and Sheryl Zamberlan Allessie (husband, Joey) of Chicago, IL, one nephew, Martin Zamberlan (wife, Lynn) of Harmony, PA, three grand-nieces, five grand-nephews, and one great-grand-nephew, and several cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mary and Paul Zamberlan Sr, brothers, Victor Zamberlan and Joseph Zamberlan.
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 East Stein Hwy, Seaford, DE on June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery on June 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
