Paul S Daniels Sr

Paul Daniels Sr, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2022.  He was born September 27, 1941, the son of the late John and Anna Daniels.

          Paul worked as an Electrician in IBEW Local #456 for 55 years, during that time he also worked for Duke Lumber Company as a Mechanic/Electrician.  Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman who spent a great deal of his time following his passions as well as sharing with and inspiring his children and grandchildren in pursuit of those same passions for as long as he was physically able.  He was a fan of NASCAR, he watched and rooted for his two favorite drivers, Bill Elliott and Kyle Busch.

          Paul is survived by his wife, Betty E Willing Joines, daughter, Bonnie Meising and her children, Josh Baker and Jordan Baker, son, Paul Daniels, Jr, son, Robert Daniels with his wife Nicole and children, Hilary Daniels, Leah Daniels, and Deas Daniels.  He also leaves behind four greatgrandchildren. In addition to his own offspring, he embraced several of his wife’s as his own, they are a stepdaughter Gail Murphy and step-grandchildren Marty Johnson and Tara Murphy.  He also is survived by his siblings, brother, John Daniels Jr and his wife Jeanette, sisters, Theresa Brewstowski, Irene Thrasher, and Aggie Mackerwitz with husband Robert.

          The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Vitas Hospice for the excellent care, compassionate support, and total commitment they gave to Paul and the family during the time he was in their service.

          Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 1:00pm Cranston Funeral Home, with a viewing from 12:00 to 1:00pm.  Interment will immediately follow services at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford.
