PATRICIA A NORWOOD

Patricia A Norwood of Blades, De passed away on Thursday July 20 2023 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. She was 80.

She was born January 14, 1943 in Easton, Md. The daughter of the late Carlton Milligan Sr and Edith Mitchell Milligan of Federalsburg, MD.

She graduated from Federalsburg High School with the class of 1961. After marrying the love of her life Bob Norwood she worked as a teachers aid for Blades Elementary for 10 years. Then she became a USDA inspector in Cordova, MD for 10 years. She was an amazing wife, mom, and grammie.

In her free time, she loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, her dogs Chewy & Sassy, cooking shows, ET and her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her husband of 56 years of marriage Robert Norwood, her son Robert Troy Norwood of Blades, De and 2 grandchildren Tyler B Norwood of Blades, De and Tanner B Norwood of Laurel, De. Her brother Butch Milligan and lots neices and nephew's.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother Frank Milligan of Federalsburg, MD and her sister Trudy Milligan DeAngelo of Seaford, De.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26 2023 at Cranstons Funeral Home in Seaford, DE at Noon. Burial will follow at Bloomery Cementary in Federalsburg, MD. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00pm prior to the start of service.
