Nathaniel “Lynn” McCane, 64, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Lynn was born December 15, 1959, in Milford, DE to Earl McCane and Ruth Perdue.
Lynn married Sherry McCane on May 25, 1991. They were blessed with one child: Kaycee McCane. Lynn enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Orioles. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Lynn is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherry McCane, his daughter, Kaycee McCane, his mother and stepfather, Ruth and John Perdue, his sister, Glynis (Bob) Mack, his brothers, Richard McCane and Michael (Flor) McCane, his stepsister, Jennifer Coulbourne, his stepbrother, Bryan Perdue, his mother-in-law, Nancy Eastwood, as well as several adored nieces and nephews.
Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Earl McCane, and his brother, Gregory McCane.
The family wished to extend gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice for their support in his final days.
He will be missed dearly by all his family, friends, and his beloved dogs, Bandit, Beaux, and Bristol.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 3:00 PM, with a public visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford, DE.
