Marlene Ann Warford

Marlene Ann Warford, 86, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2022. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Sellers (Stephen) and Tracey Maidlow (Michael), and her grandchildren Matthew, Justin (Ryan), Andrew (Hannah), Nickolas (Haylie), Katie, Jessica, and Jacob.  She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Sally Carroll (Paul Devin) and Evah Warford; and nieces, Suzanne (Jim), Kathy (Chris) and Christine. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband Robert Charles Warford, her parents, Ross Frederick Nelson and Genevieve Violet Nelson; sister, Shirley Stahl; brother-in-law, Thomas Warford; and nephew Brad Stahl.

Marlene was a loving and devoted wife and mother with a wonderful personality.  She assisted in bookkeeping at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church for nearly 30 years.  Marlene enjoyed playing bridge, but most of all she loved her pets.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, at 2 PM at The Methodist Manor House located at 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, DE.  Internment will be private at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Seaford, DE.
