Mark Amin Elkhayat

Mark Amin Elkhayat, of Seaford, DE originally from Sudan, passed away on January 12, 2023.  He was the son of the late Mohammad Ali Al Khayat and Fatma Mohammad Hasan Al Mistaniry. 

Mark was a retired Navy Veteran, he was a Vietnam Veteran, and he started his military career in the Army.  After retirement, Mark kept busy with his many hobbies including drinking coffee, watching movies from his large DVD collection, specifically Westerns and Action movies.  He loved traveling and being out on the ocean, but one of the things he loved the most was his granddaughter.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Susan Elkhayat, two brothers, one sister, a granddaughter, and many other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 1:00pm at Cranston Funeral Home, with a visitation from 12:00 to 1:00pm.  Immediately following funeral services, burial will take place at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston, MD.
