Margaret Ann Stidham

Margaret Ann Stidham, 56, of Greenwood, DE passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2023. She was born February 23, 1967, to the late Richard Wilder and Peggy Ellingsworth.

Margaret lived a life full of compassion and caring for others. She was a graduate of Wesley College’s school of nursing and worked at Bayhealth-Kent General for 15 years. Following her time in nursing, she paired her caring nature with her love of lifting other’s spirits, finding a new adventure as a bartender. Her holiday costumes, wild nail colors, and fun leggings brought so much joy to the customers, who became her second family.   

In her spare time, Margaret loved to read detective novels, spend time with her husband, set up little surprises for her friends, and visit the beach. She considered anywhere sunny to be her “happy place.” 

She is survived by her husband, David Stidham, her children Jessica Creeden, Geoffrey Creeden, Samantha Creeden, and Courtney Creeden, her grandchildren Troy, Thayer, Karl, Jade, Zoey, and Luna, her siblings Jane Ellingsworth, Patty Allen, Richard Wilder, Carol Wilder, and Rachael Barnoski, stepmother Jan Wilder, and several nieces and nephews.   

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Margaret Stidham on Thursday October 5, 2023, at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford, DE. Time to visit family and share memories will be held from 2:00-3:00 pm with the service to be held at 3:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held at CC22 directly afterwards.
