MARY SWIFT

Mary Swift of Seaford passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 8, 1925 in Milford, DE.

She was a sales clerk at Woolworth’s in Seaford, DE for 24 years.  She was a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary and a past noble grand of Miriam Rebekah Lodge #20.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Seaford Fire Department for 52 years.  She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters Peggy Griffith, Linda Hignutt and Bonnie Walls.  She was preceded by a son Sonny Swift.  She has four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, September 16th at 2 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2.  Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
