Marion J. Mack, age 94, formally of Seaford DE., went home to be with the Lord on June 30th, 2020.
Mrs. Mack was born in Lorain, Ohio on April 3rd, 1926.
She was the wife of Rev. Kenneth N. Mack, who proceeded her in death.
Marion and her husband were church starters with Fellowship of Baptist for Home Missions in Elyria, Ohio.
Rev. Mack pastored 6 churches.
Mrs. Mack faithfully taught Sunday school, played the piano, printed the bulletin, and ministered for the Lord.
Mrs. Mack attended Northwestern School of the Bible in Minneapolis MN, and Philadelphia School of the Bible with her husband. While attending Northwestern, she and two other women worked as secretaries to the schools president and Evangelist Billy Graham.
She had been a Nurse Aid, secretary, and sometimes a cashier. In 1972, Marion went to Delaware Tech Community College & DE. State University, where she earned her R.N. degree and decided to become a full time nurse. Employeed by Nanicoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford DE, Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation, and was a travelling hopsice nurse until retirement.
Mrs. Mack enjoyed going to church at 1st Baptist Church of Seaford DE, she was faithfully there anytime the doors swung open. She also loved knitting and her kitties. She loved reading and writing notes in her Bible (an education itself)
Marion spent her remaining years at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation in Delmar DE.
Proceeded in death by her husband Rev. Kenneth N. Mack, her sons Richard W. Mack and Robert K. Mack.
Survived by her son Ronald L. Mack of Colorado Springs Co, cousin Laura Mae Owens of Amherst OH., grandchildren Jeremy Mack of Dover DE, Heather Mack of Milford, DE, and Jane Mack of Colorado Springs CO. As well as her friends Stephanie Burch and Fay Carney of Seaford DE. Her church family and her many friends at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Burial will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Ceremtery im Sussex County, DE.
