MARILYN TRUITT Obituary

Marilyn Ann Griffith Vantrease Truitt (age 81) of Seaford passed away on Sunday, April 18th after a long-fought battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia at Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation and Health facility in Millsboro, DE Born in Seaford on December 2, 1939; Marilyn graduated from Seaford Highschool class of 1957 and retired from Dupont, Woolworth and Ames. She was preceded in death by her father Emmett Griffith, mother Mabel Lena Elizabeth Lofland, husband, Isaac Phillip Truitt, daughter Vanessa Vantrease Derrickson and son Timothy Vantrease. Marilyn is survived by her son Bob Vantrease (Gale), daughters Vickie Vantrease Heby (Jacky) and Jennifer Truitt Justice (John) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services and burial will be private.
