Lee J. Watts passed away on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at his home in Delmar, Delaware.
Lee was born on July 14th, 1945 in Baltimore County, Maryland to Russell and Gertrude (Walters) Watts from Pennsylvania. He owned his own carpentry business, Watts Home Improvements, which he maintained for 46 years.
Lee was a kind, soft spoken man who was always there for anyone who needed help. Those who knew Lee knew that there was never a more honest or caring friend or family member than him. He never made an enemy, and no one was a stranger to him. Lee lived for the simple pleasures in life and for his family. His hobbies mostly included crafting items for his home, decorating his house for the holidays, and watching football games on TV. Lee kept active by providing home improvements for friends and family, as well as taking his daily five mile walk across Delmar. There was never a day that you would not see him smiling or with a positive attitude. Lee was the embodiment of happy-go-lucky.
Lee is survived by his daughter, Tammy Phillips and her husband David; granddaughter, Taylor Reid; nephews Johnny Watts (Christine) from Laurel, DE and Jimmy Watts (Cheri) from Laurel, DE and their children and grandchildren.
A graveside burial service will be held at Line United Methodist Church at 18725 Line Church Rd, Delmar, DE 19940 on Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at 1 PM
