Joyce D Amerine

Joyce D. Amerine, age 87, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 31, 2023.  She was born on January 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Dewey and Corrine Owens.

Joyce was an avid local sports enthusiast.  Joyce and her husband Scotty loved going to watch Seaford School Sports, and they loved being able to represent student athletes who did not have family to cheer them on.  Joyce was a beloved mother and wife and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Scotty Amerine, two sons, Deland Amerine and Eric Amerine, as well as one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, and her beloved cat, Shadow.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Corrine Owens, and her sister, Cornell Perry.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 1:00 PM with a viewing taking place from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley St. Seaford, DE.
