John R Hawkins Sr

John R. Hawkins Sr., age 78, of Bridgeville, Delaware, passed away on February 1, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. 

Rick was born on March 28, 1945, in Boston, Massachusetts, to his parents Orville and Vivian. His siblings, Donna Moe, and Kenny resided in Ohio. Rick came to Delaware where he met the love of his life Helen.

Rick enjoyed hot rods, building cars, and was a comedian. He is survived by his children, Laura, Julie, and Richie, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with a viewing for family and friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Bethel Worship Center, located at 26648 Sussex Highway, Seaford, Delaware 19973.  Immediately following funeral services, burial will be held at Cokesbury Church Cemetery in Rhodesdale, MD.
