JoAnne (Pritchett) Durham, 74, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Born on February 9, 1951, in Dover, DE, JoAnne was the daughter of Grace (Seeney) and David Pritchett.
In 1972, JoAnne married the love of her life, Richard Durham Sr. Together JoAnne and Richard were married for 52 years and had 6 children.
JoAnne worked for LifeCare at Lofland Park for many years before her retirement in 2020.
JoAnne enjoyed many things in life. She loved going shopping at multiple places, but her favorite store was Marshalls. She enjoyed going to roadside markets and greenhouse’s, restaurants, collecting cookbooks, cooking, antique shopping, and spending time with her two pugs. Although JoAnne loved doing all of those things, nothing compared to spending every holiday and weekends with her family.
JoAnne will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
JoAnne is survived by her husband, Richard Durham Sr.; her children, Shiloh Arriola (Daniel), Amanda Durham (Robert), Richard Durham Jr. (Stefanie) and Melissa Clark (William); Grandchildren, Richard Durham III, Morgan Arriola, Hunter Durham, Reagan Clark, Liam Clark and her “Angel Baby” Saylor Clark; Step-Grandson, Brenton Thomas; Step-Granddaughter, Hailey Powell; Step-Great-Grandson, Brayden Thomas; and her two pugs, Wrinkle Rose and Sassy Willow, whom she loved dearly.
JoAnne is also survived by her sister, Tina Warncke and brother, Louis Pritchett; along with a host of extended family, and a dear family friend, Ebany Fillyau.
The family extends a special thanks to JoAnne’s caretaker, Michelle Tyndall.
JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, Grace and David Pritchett; her children, Holly and Bobbie Jo, siblings; Marilyn Pritchett, Kenneth Pritchett and David Pritchett.
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 2:00pm, welcoming the public at 1:00pm at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE. Immediately following the funeral service, burial will take place at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
