Janice A. Hamilton (formerly Jensen, née Tanner) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 10th, 2023, in her home in Seaford, Delaware.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Adolf W. “Bill” Hamilton. Janice is also survived by her seven children: Warren Jensen (Chrissy) of Egg Harbor City, Donald Jensen (Donna) of Hamilton Township, William Jensen (Genne) of Egg Harbor City, Shane Hamilton (Becky) of Mullica, A. William “Bill” Hamilton (Susan) of New Gretna, Karen Hamilton of Mays Landing, Kathy Hamilton (Lori) of Mullica, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Atlantic City, NJ, on July 19th, 1945, to parents Walter Tanner and Ruth Kingsley (Elmer), Janice worked at Hoenes and Douglas Industries in New Jersey and Happy Harry’s in Delaware.
Janice loved to work with her hands and was known for her artistic talents and a keen eye for style and interior design. She and her husband Bill made a beautiful life together, with their shared love of travel and working on their home and garden.
Janice had a strong Christian faith and believed in The Lord Jesus Christ and His promise of salvation. She is now receiving her well-deserved passage into eternal life.
A memorial service will be held on November 27th at 6 PM at Scullville Bible Church, located at 1546 Somers Point - Mays Landing Road, EHT, NJ.
