Jane C. Love, 80 (April 16,1943 - April 18, 2023)

Jane would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received an offer she could not refuse. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends whom she has not seen in a long time. Her new assignment takes her to a wonderful place where she will have endless pairs of shoes, waffle fries and Diet Dr Pepper (but never gain an ounce). She will be dancing, shopping, sun bathing and working on puzzles to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed.

As she embarks on this new adventure, she will join her parents, Benjamin Brooks Wheatley Sr “Dut”, Dorothy Davis Wheatley “Duke”, and her brother Benjamin Brooks Wheatley Jr “Veet”.

She left detailed instructions for her remaining 3 siblings Caroline Clayville (Wayne Dickerson), Cathie Jo Jones (Cecil) and Dorothy Wheatley (Russell Neal), her 6 children John Ashwell, Debi Watson (Terry), Jennifer Dorman (James), Carrie Stoeckel, Amy Herr (Chad) and Joshua Parker (Dawn), her 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, to CELEBRATE her completed mission. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.

We have all been blessed by her time here and wish her a blissful journey. We will remember her gorgeous white hair, her snazzy style, her warmth, her energy, her love and acceptance for all God’s children, her work ethic, her love for life, family and friends, but also her dedication to Teen Challenge where many coworkers and customers became great friends and “family”.
