JUNE LEE TAVOLARIO

June Lee Tavolario (née Owen), 81, of Seaford, Delaware, left these earthly confines, glory bound, surrounded by loved ones, on November 09, 2020 at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford. She was born to parents Edwin H. Owen and Bernice Dempsey Owen, on February 27,1939 in Richmond, Virginia.

June met Franklin Delano Roosevelt Tavolario in 1957. They were married on February 01, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. Together they raised three children: Penny Lee Tavolario Kimbrough, Franklin Delano Tavolario, Edwin Andrew Tavolario.

June is survived by Penny Lee Tavolario Kimbrough (Phil), daughter and son-in-law. Franklin Delano Tavolario, son. Edwin Andrew Tavolario, son.  Grandchildren: Amy, Charmaine, Benjamin, Wendi. Great Grandchildren: Raven, Tristan, Addison, Ayanna, Marley, Evelyn, MariLee, and baby boy due in March 2021. Charmaine Poe, Sister. Sunny Mae Willner, sister. Numerous nieces and nephews.  Many precious cousins whom she cherished. 

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Tavolario, husband. Edwin H. Owen, father. Bernice Dempsey Owen, mother. Betty Owen, stepmother. Patricia Owen Entzminger, sister. Edwin “Boonie” Owen Jr., brother.

The family has entrusted Cranston Funeral Home with the arrangements.  Family will be available one hour prior to service. Funeral Service is scheduled for November 20, 2020 at 1:00PM at 300 Shipley Street, Seaford, Delaware.  Reverend Rich Evans will officiate the ceremony. 

The family of “Ms. June” wish to thank the Sussex County Paramedics and EMTs as well as the Tidal Health Nanticoke ER staff, PACU Nursing staff, and the Palliative Care Department. Each one of you showed exemplary care and compassion and offered a great sense of support during Mom’s stay.
