JULIAN "JOE" TUNE

Julian “Joe” Tune, age 72, of Seaford, DE passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021.

          Joe retired from the Dupont Company in Seaford, he was a Vietnam veteran, a member of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 6.  He also owned several small businesses over the years and everyone loved his handmade fishing tackle.                                                                                                            He loved to fish and spend time on the water.  He loved surrounding himself with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

          Joe was one of six children. 

          Joe’s wife Lillian Figgs Tune died in 2008.  He is survived by his son, Patrick Allen Tune (Kristen), daughter, Joanne Annette Ward (Shane), grandchildren, Patrick Allen Tune Jr, Cayden Tune, Lilli Tune, Kaitlyn Prettyman (Nicholas) and Caleb Ward.

          Services will be on Tuesday, July 20th at 2 PM at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
