Julia Ann Yerkes

Santa Fe, NM - Julia Ann Yerkes, known by friends and family as Judy, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2019 in Santa Fe, NM. 

Judy was born in Salisbury, MD on August 4, 1945 and spent most of her life in the First State, between Wilmington and Seaford. She graduated from the York Academy of Art, and enjoyed drawing and painting her entire life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Betty Yerkes. 

Surviving family members include her brother Wayne Yerkes, of Fruitland, MD, and Patricia Sowers, of Santa Fe, NM. She is also survived by four nephews and one niece. 

Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, March 19th at 1 PM at Blades Cemetery, Blades, DE.

. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests purchasing a piece of art from a local artist or a contribution to a local hospice.
