JOSEPH A LASIEWSKI, JR

Joseph A. Lasiewski, Jr, age 80, of Seaford, DE passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Born in Los Angeles but parents moved back to North Arlington NJ after WWII.

Graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a degree in accounting and later obtain a Masters and became a CPA. Later Retired in Delaware after ending his career in New York City.

Is a Vietnam vet.

He was a loving Husband and Father. Married his sole mate Marie and they were married for 54 years, having one daughter Julie.

He was a devote Catholic and did a lot of work with the church, including being Eucharistic minister, Lector and teacher.

He loved Bicycle riding. Days at the beach and Long walks on them. Going to Atlantic City.

He took up the hobby of building model ship but still loved a good book and attending bible study.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marie Lasiewski, Brother-in-law Michael Hudock and sister-in-law Susan Loupos.

Joseph is survived by his daughter Julie Lasiewsk Acone, son in law Michael Acone, brother-in-law William Loupos, sister-in-law, Marlene Hudock Kienhofer and numerous nieces and nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, May7, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford. Friends may call at the Cranston Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 9 to 9:30 AM.  Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro, DE.
