James J. Little, Jr. (Chicken), formerly of the Rockville and Stafford Springs area died September 28, 2021 of sudden cardiac arrest at his home in Magnolia, Delaware, with his family by his side. Jim was born, the youngest of 4 children on February 2, 1945 in Hartford, CT. to the late James J, Little, Sr & Sophie (Schultz) Little.
Jim was a builder all his life and he found lifelong pride and joy in building anything he set out to, always finishing each project to perfection. Jim also was the kind of man who would do anything for anybody and asked for nothing in return. He was always the first to jump in and help someone in need. Jim was the most wonderful, kind, loving, caring and comedic Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend who will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched and those who loved him deeply.
Jim is survived by his wife, soulmate, and best friend of 34 years Lori (Wearne) Little of Magnolia, DE, his son James J. Little, III and his wife Amy of Northport, Fla, his daughter Colleen Little and wife Elizabeth of Zephyrhills, Fla, his daughter Sarah Mullin and her husband Robbie of Magnolia, DE, his son Jesse Little and his wife Karolina of Maplewood, NJ, 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents he was pre-deceased by 3 Sisters, 1 Granddaughter and 1 Great Grandson.
Honoring Jim’s wishes a small memorial Service will be held Monday October 4, 2021 at Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford, DE at 11:00 AM.
