Helen Louise Hawkins

Helen Louise Hawkins, age 75, of Bridgeville, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after bravely battling cancer.
Helen was born in North Dorchester, Maryland to her parents Sydney & Dottie (Marine) Andrews. She graduated from North Dorchester High School in 1965.
She never completely retired as she enjoyed providing household & cleaning services to her clients, making baked goods for her friends and family, and as a devoted member, attending her local church, Bethel Worship Center in Laurel, DE.
Helen was preceded in death by her father, Sydney Andrews and her sister, Patricia Dyes (Patsy).
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John R. Hawkins, Sr. (Rick); mother, Dottie Andrews of Hurlock, MD; daughter, Julie Knowles and her husband William (Billy) of Millsboro, DE; son, John R. Hawkins, Jr. (Richie) of Seaford, DE; brother David Andrews and his wife Judy of Hurlock, MD; sister, Bonnie WIllings and her late husband Arthur of Sharptown, MD; grandchildren Bobby Knowles, Brittany Knowles both of Millsboro, DE; Great grandchildren Raylan, Kaelynn, Bella, Gunner, and Bensley; and many nephews and nieces.
On Friday, March 3rd 2023, a service for friends and family will be held at Bethel Worship Center, 26648 Sussex Highway, Seaford, DE 19973 at 1:00 PM with a visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
