Heath Marisseau Obituary

Heath Marisseau, age 55, of Delaware, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024.  Heath was born in Reading, PA on April 30, 1968.

Heath was predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline Marisseau and Uncle Danny Rohrbach whom he was raised by. He was also predeceased by his mother-in-law Marie Miner, father-in-law Gerald Miner, and his brother-in-law Daniel Miner.

Heath is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joanne Marisseau. Stepdaughter, Jenn Wismer, wife of Anastasia and four grandchildren. Aunt, Ann Peck and cousin, Deborah Carberry. Heath is also survived by his dog, Bowie, who was the light of his life.

Heath was skilled in trade, he ran a sewage plant and worked heavily in plumbing and heating. Heath also worked for Leinbach’s in Reading, Pa as a mechanic for 17 years.

Heath was 13 years sober and took such great pride in his sobriety. Heath loved spending time with his family, especially Joanne, and was an avid storyteller. Heath enjoyed going to dirt races, fishing, and playing with Bowie down at the pond. He had his pilot’s license and loved to fly. He loved music, he played the harmonica and drums, he also had an incredible collection of vinyl records. After moving to Delaware, Heath enjoyed going to the beach and exploring all the different lighthouses on the Delaware and Eastern Shore. Heath was an explorer by nature, always moving, going to “see what he sees.”

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
