Harvey Glen Goins, age 88, passed away on January 22, 2026 with two dear friends at his bedside. He was born in Claudesville, VA on November 29, 1937 to the late Alvis & Lillian Goins.
Through his lifetime Harvey lived primarily in Sophia-WV, Baltimore-MD, Seaford-DE, Horntown-VA & lastly, Pocomoke, MD. His vast career included a camper/truck topper sales business & lastly carport sales & installations. Harvey was a long time resident @ Trails End, where he was well known as “ Harvey’s” Carports.
Harvey was a self proclaimed “ Rebel”, with old school values, and a man of great faith, who adored his dogs. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed fishing, playing cards, socializing, making wine with his grapes & vintage cars. Harvey dreamed of owning a 1946 Ford Coupe.
Harvey was preceded in death by his 2 brothers: Stuart & Clyde & 2 of his sisters: Hazel & Bobbi Jean. He is survived by his remaining sister, Phyllis Bolton, his 2 daughters: Cynthia Serson & Lisa Berkey, along with multiple grand children & great grandchildren.
Harvey was laid to rest @ Woodland Church Cemetery along side his beloved wife, Norma Goins, who proceeded him in death. He was well loved & will be greatly missed. May they rest inpeace reunited together in Heaven.
