Eileen M Costello

Eileen M Costello, age 74, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side.  She was born on June 14, 1949, the daughter of the late James and Helen Casey.

Eileen worked for 14 years for AT&T until the birth of her children. In her later years she worked as a teacher’s aide in a nursery school. In retirement, Eileen and her husband, Bob, relocated to Bridgeville, DE from Warwick, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Helen Casey, and her daughter, Kathleen Costello.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bob, son, Kevin Costello (Rachel), two granddaughters, Robin and Luka, two brothers, Larry Casey (Cecilia) and James Casey (Carol), four sisters, Kathleen Kelly (John), Susan Garrett (Bill), Maureen Murphy (Neal), and Mary Gansfuss (Rich), brother-in-law, Richard Costello, and dozens of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with a viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Cranston Funeral Home.  The Homily will be prepared by Deacon William Garrett.
