It is with great sadness that the family of Edmond Dennis “Eddie” Komorowski announces his passing. Eddie went home to be with the lord on December 15, 2018.
Eddie was born on March 10, 1938, the son of the late Joseph and Helen Paquette Komorowski. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard “Dickie” Komorowski.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann Zuzek Komorowski, daughters, Daria Cannedy and Daina Gunther, five grandchildren, Jordan, Shaun, Skylar, Jenna and Ethan and two great-grandsons, Braeden and Hunter and his sister, Sandra Messick.
After receiving his diploma from Greenwood High School in 1956, Eddie went to work for automobile dealerships until he started his own business in Wilmington, DE. Because of his passion of anything with an engine, he was an avid enthusiast of all vehicles. He restored, repaired, customized, bought and sold and enjoyed every one of them.
Remembered as a story teller, Eddie always had a funny story or joke to lighten the mood-any age, old or young. He is loved and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 DuPont Blvd, Georgetown, DE 19947 or Seasons Hospice, 4755 Ogletown-Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 19718.
