Doris Lee Walls

Doris Lee Walls, age 90, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family into the arms of her Savior. She was born March 7, 1934, to Elizabeth and Ira Short.

She was married to Charles A Walls on October 18, 1957, who preceded her in death in 2002. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. She loved helping at the church that she previously attended. Doris worked at the telephone company and retired after 39 years of driving a school bus for the Seaford School District. She was one of six siblings who preceded her in death.

Doris is survived by her two children, Shirley Jager and Russel Walls (Carol), grandchildren, Kenneth “Bud” Jager (Martina), Chris Jager (Natasha), great grandsons, Ian Jager (Kayleigh) and Joshua Jager, as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Her warm smile and kind heart will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Funeral Services will take place on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with a visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE.
