Dexter Wade Parker

Dexter Wade Parker, age 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025.  He was born on January 30, 1957, the son of the late Gerald Parker and Virginia Sammons.

Dexter enjoyed frequenting TJ Farmers Market, and he had a love for word search puzzles. In his younger days he enjoyed helping his father fix cars, appliances, or anything that needed repairs.  He enjoyed giving people car rides when they needed transportation.  Dexter loved to help anyone he could in any way he could.

He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Jones (Scott), brother, Gerry Parker (Deborah), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a public viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Immediately following services, burial will take place at Carey's Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.
