DEBORAH PHILLIPS Obituary

Deborah M Phillips loving friend and mother of two passed away on the morning of Tuesday June 7, 2022 at the age of 62. Deborah was better known to most people as Debbie. She was so very loved by her family and in the community.

Debbie was born on the 19th of September 1959 in Washington D.C. to Robert Cook and Jane Henderson Smack. Debbie started out with a family, giving birth to 2 children, son Travis and daughter Trish. She had her own babysitting business when she was an at home Mother for many years. After deciding to take a new direction in life she started working at Solo cup and Mcdonalds, where she quickly became a manager. After Meeting the true love of her life Dominick Mammana she started helping manage and run 3 businesses with him.

Debbie was always loving to everyone and did everything she could to make people feel comfortable. She was caring, strong and very loyal. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She had many people she cared for, whether it was immediate family, to all the loving people from the bar business that she had relationships with to just friends over the years.  She loved spending time with her family. She was very proud to be a Grandmother and Great Grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She loved to travel with her best friend and soul mate Dominick Mammana. They both got to experience a dream they had together on October 5th 2005 when he took her to see Paul Mccartney live. They traveled to many places such as South Carolina and Las Vegas. Debbie always supported and loved to watch Dom play in his bands. When Debbie finally retired she spent most of her time taking care of and loving her first great grandchild Layah. Everyday we all had with her was a blessing and would never be enough!
