Connie Lyons

Connie Lyons 69 of Seaford, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 30, 2025. She was born on Nov. 26, 1955, to James and Sara Powers in Butler, Pa. She was a high school graduate from Butler area high school.

She enjoyed being a cashier at Walmart in Cranberry Twp, Pa. and Seaford. She loved going to the senior center and playing bingo.She also loved reading and being with her cats Summer, Boots, and Red.

She is survived by her daughters Catherine Fryar (Jesse), Laura Lyons (Bill), Linda Painter (Steve); son-in-law John Webster, Jr.; grandchildren Zachery Fryar (Britany), Damien Fryar (Bailey), Sara Shankle, and Tyler Webster; great-grandchildren Zoey Fryar, Jesse Fryar, Cooper Fryar, and Mark Shankle; brothers and sisters Tom Powers (Dot), Margaret Jordan, Patty Powers, Susie Powers, Nancy Fend, and Jim Powers.

She is proceeded in death by her infant son Danny, grandson Shawn Shankle, parents James and Sara Powers, infant sister Mary Powers, sister Judy Burka, and brother David Powers.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date for family and friends in Seaford and Butler, Pa.
