Charles Russell Moore III passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 55, after a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure.
Born on June 17, 1967, in Baltimore, MD, Russ graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1985 and went on to receive a BS and MBA from Salisbury University.
Throughout his life, Russ wore many hats. He was a talented car salesman; a real estate investor; and President/CEO of Apraisal Plus, LLC. Russ also had a lifelong love of cars, watches, flashlights, motocross, the Ravens, NASCAR, and myriad other sports. He will be forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, beaming smile, joyful laugh, beautiful spirit, and good sportsmanship. One of his favorite pastimes was simply telling stories to everyone he encountered; truly, Russ never met a stranger.
Russ was predeceased by his son, Austin Blaze Moore, on October 13, 2019. He is survived by an extended and loving family that includes his wife, Heather Anthony-Moore; mother, Genevieve White; father, Charles Russell Moore II; step-father, James B. White, Jr.; offspring Ashley Hoffman and Colton Moore; step-daughter, Aundonia Nason; siblings Robin Leigh Burrhus, Victoria Beth Smith, James B. White, III, and Dana Alexandra Gardiner; and grandchildren, Bailey, Raina, and Faro Hoffman.
Services will be held on June 17, 2023, at 11 a.m., at the small St. John's Chapel in Bridgeville, DE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Healthcare and Fisher of Men Foundation.
