CAROLYN TAYLOR Obituary

Carolyn “Sue” Taylor of Seaford passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021.

She was born on November 13, 1952 in Salisbury, MD. She was daughter of Charles and Alice Baker.

Sue was currently employed by Genesis Seaford Center where she has worked as a unit clerk for the past 39 years. Many of her coworkers were more like family to her. She was a member of the Ocean City Surf Anglers. Each year she looked forward to helping the club with their annual surf-fishing tournament in Ocean City Maryland. She was also a member of the AMSA. She had a great love for the beach and surf fishing.  Many weekends you could find her with her husband, Larry, sitting by the surf soaking up the sun and salt air. She could also often be found on the boardwalk enjoying a bucket of Thrasher’s fries. She also enjoyed spending time with her family on their many camping adventures. Spending time with her family was her passion. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her everything. Family was the most important thing to her, and she enjoyed all her moments with them.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Taylor Sr. of Seaford, her sons Larry Taylor Jr (Teri) of Seaford and Matt Taylor (Hollie) of Seaford, daughter Katie Taylor (Stanley) of Seaford, grandchildren Matt Taylor (Victoria), Courtney Taylor (Jordan), Riley Taylor, Kyleigh Cizon, Christopher Cizon, Addison McMullen, Larry Taylor III and Parker Taylor. She also has 5 great grandsons, Kolten, Derrickson, Jameson, Alan, and Jordan who she loved so much and was looking forward to the arrival of the sixth great grandson, Kyryn. In addition, she is survived by her sister Rachael Hewett of Shallotte, North Carolina. She was also loved by her sisters in law Brenda Baker and Priscilla Taylor and brother in law Cliff Taylor. She also has many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers Bud Baker and Frank Baker, and her sisters Kit Chamberlain, Edith Wilkins  (Tommy), Della Stovak and Betty Jean Johnstone (John) as well as brother in law Billy Hewett.
