We are saddened by the sudden passing of Bobby Ralph Parker, Jr. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Tidalhealth hospital in Salisbury, MD. Bobby passed away peacefully from liver complications at the age of 66 surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born in Seaford, Delaware, on June 17, 1956, to Bobby Ralph Parker, Sr., and M. Louise Parker (Goldsborough) (March 2022), who preceded him in death.
He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter, always looking for that “big buck” across Sussex County, Delaware. Bobby attended and graduated from Seaford High school in 1975. He enjoyed competition including baseball, school sports, and especially monopoly. He was very supportive and involved in his son’s 4-H, Scoots, and school sports, and special events for his niece’s. He worked 31 years and retired from AI duPont in Seaford, Delaware, and he continued his work experience for the state of Delaware for 15 years in the custodial department before he officially retired.
Bobby was also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Parker, in August 2021, due to similar complications. He leaves behind his beloved wife Pamela Parker (Rementer) of 31 years and his devoted sister Marjorie Carroll (Parker); along with in-laws, David J. Rementer, Sr. and Ruth E. Rementer, brother-in-law David Rementer Jr. and wife Leslie Rementer (Warrington), and Sister-in-law Dawn Elliott (Rementer) and husband, John Elliott; nieces Abigail Carroll (Bruce and daughter), Angela Carroll (Daniel and sons), Megan Elliott, Kelsey Rementer, and MacKenzie Rementer.
