Bob Hubbard, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, husband and friend, passed away on April 5, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, shenanigans, and cherished memories. Born in Baltimore Maryland on October 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Myrtle May Hubbard and Robert Kelley Hubbard.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Shirly Ann Hubbard and his second wife Carol Ann Hubbard, who was the love of his life. He was also preceded by his four brothers William Hubbard, Harold Hubbard, Fred Hubbard, and Eddy Hubbard.
Bob is survived by his daughter Annette Elizabeth Hubbard, who was a constant source of pride and joy in his life and Joyce Diehl, his loving sister. He also leaves behind five grandchildren- Eric Ferguson (Diana Abrecht), Stephanie VanderMierden (Nick), Amanda Ferguson, Destiny Campbell (Bryan), and Bryce Ferguson. His love extended even further to his seven great-grandchildren Camden Gowin, Raelee Gowin, Myla Gowin, Nikolas Ferguson, Owen Ferguson, Arizona VanderMierden and Matthew VanderMierden whom he loved fiercely.
Bob is fondly remembered by close friends John & Mary Anna Michalski as well as Candi Clever.
Bob was a lifelong electrician, a jack of all trades and a master of none, as he would say. He later made his home in Selbyville, Delaware, where he built a life rich in family and friendships. Bob lived a full and meaningful life, surrounded by many family members and friends who will forever treasure the memories, laughter, stories and crabs they shared with him.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the lives he touched and the memories he helped create.
Forever loved, never forgotten.
