Barbara J Robinette

Barbara J Robinette, age 85, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 28, 1938, in Banner, VA, to the late William and Edith Hamm.

Barbara worked as an accountant for 30 years for John Hopkins Hospital. She was a member of the Stein Highway Church of God.  Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her embroidery, bible word finds, and she loved reading her bible. Barbara was an avid accountant at work and in her personal life and never let a variance go unchecked.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Lee Robinette Sr, her parents William and Edith Hamm, and sisters, Leona Irene Leddon and Carol Blackwell.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Edith Elizabeth Robinette, sons, Orville Lee Robinette Jr (Kathie) and William James Robinette (Saundra), her sister, Pinky Ann McKenzie, brother Billy Joe Hamm (Sharon), as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Stein Highway Church of God in Seaford, DE, with a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
