BRENDA MINA WOOTTEN

Brenda M. Wootten, age 61, of Blades, DE.  Amazing mother, grandmother and friend passed away on 08/31/2022 peacefully in her home. She was born to Ernie and Marie Hill on September 1st 1960. Brenda owned her own bakery for 2 years. She worked at the sewing factory for 3 years. Then she ultimately retired from Seaford School district. She was an active member at Blades Volunteer Fire Department for 7 years where she was loved by many. She participated annually in the Locks of Love program. Brenda enjoyed yardsaleing and bingo, but she enjoyed spending time with her family the most, especially watching her grandson play football. She was a collector of many things, but Pioneer Woman and Longaberger were her favorite. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marie & Ernie Hill and is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Shane Wootten and Chad & LeShaun Baker, Grandchildren, Rachel, Evan & Zachary Wootten, Kara & Madison Hill, a Great Grandson Garrett Lankford, Brother and sister in law Randy & Tammy Hill and niece and nephew Nikki & Randy Hill. 

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, September 7th at 2 PM at Bethel Worship Center, 26648 Sussex Hwy. Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2.  Burial will be in Blades Cemetery.
